Rob McBride is a versatile and multi-skilled television broadcaster.  Much of his 20 years’ experience in factual TV has been spent in Asia.  And since the advent of digital technology, he has become a pioneer in digital video journalism.

Moving to Hong Kong in the early 1990’s, he has travelled and worked widely covering some of the biggest events to shape Asia in recent times.  For several years, he was a regular contributor to Star TV’s award-winning current affairs team and was nominated for a prestigious Overseas Press Club award for his coverage of the Kashmir conflict.

It is this experience that he now shares as both a part-time lecturer in video journalism at the University of Hong Kong, and as a trainer in media relations with a number of leading companies and organizations around Asia.
